To empower Western Slope communities to become more sustainable and self-reliant through the use of solar energy. We dedicate ourselves to the design, procurement, installation, and maintenance of high quality photovoltaic systems.
Empowered Energy Systems celebrates its 20th year in 2024 with a conversion to a worker-owned cooperative and a Public Benefit Corporation. Our commitment is to provide you with the information you need about solar and present a well-designed custom plan that will lead to a quality installation by our trained installation team. Our bottom line is excellent customer service.

Empowered Energy Systems invests in community organizations including: KVNF Radio, Delta County Libraries Summer Reading Program, The Mountain Harvest Festival, The Western Slope Conservation Center, The Paradise Theater, Western Colorado Alliance, Friends of Youth and Nature, Solar Energy International, and the Delta Area, Hotchkiss, and Paonia Chambers of Commerce.
